Since relocating to Seattle from the Midwest in 2014, Cyrus has appeared regularly on both modern and historical bassoons. He performs with the North Corner Chamber Orchestra, Seattle Rock Orchestra, Federal Way Symphony, and other local ensembles. Cyrus completed his Master of Music at Indiana University and his Bachelor of Music at University of Wisconsin - Madison. Primary teachers include Kathleen McLean, Michael McCraw, Martin Kuuskmann, Bill Ludwig, and Marc Vallon.

NOCCO acknowledges that we operate, rehearse, and perform on the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People past and present and honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe.
