Linda Vogt
violin
Linda attended Seattle Pacific University after studying violin under the renowned University of Washington violin teacher, Emanuel Zetlin. Linda also studied voice in college and at 18, sang the National Anthem for the Seattle Seahawks. Her interest in combining her two loves led her to embark on a professional singing and violin career for 13 years in local nightclubs, experimenting with Jazz, country and rock. She returned to her classical roots with vigor, playing chamber music with various groups for over 20 years, as well as some of Seattle’s top professional orchestra’s such as North Corner Chamber Orchestra, Auburn Symphony, NW Sinfionetta, and many others. Linda recently moved to Whidbey Island and is thoroughly enjoying playing with her piano trio, Trio Indigo.
