Julie Weston has performed with Spokane Symphony, Seattle Baroque Orchestra, Philharmonia Northwest, Skagit Opera, Bloomington Camerata, Terre Haute Symphony, and Trio Lumina. She has worked as a private instructor, string coach, and faculty member in a number of local private and public schools. Julie graduated with her Bachelors in music performance from Indiana University where she studied with Mimi Zweig and Stanley Ritchie. She has a special interest in early music and period performance, and pursued further studies at Amherst Early Music Festival and Cambridge Early Music Festival in Cambridge, England. She also holds a B.S. degree in math from IU and enjoys tutoring math students in her free time. Outside of music, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and mountain biking. She lives in Bellingham with her husband and 7-year old son.
