Kelly Moore

Kelly Moore, violist, is an educator and chamber musician in the greater Seattle area. Kelly is passionate about teaching, and is co-founder of KNK Music Studios, where has a vibrant private studio of young violists. She is also faculty member of the Icicle Creek Summer Symphony. Kelly has attended the Indiana University Teacher Training Retreat led by renowned pedagogue Mimi Zweig. In addition to playing with NOCCO, she is also a founding member and violist of the Ravenna String Quartet, which often gives concerts to raise money for local charities. Kelly has subbed with Symphony Tacoma, Northwest Sinfonietta, and Yakima Symphony Orchestra. After completing her undergraduate degree at Central Washington University, Kelly went on to complete a Performance Certificate at the University of Southern California, and then earned a Diploma in Chamber Music Studies from the University of Illinois. Outside of music, Kelly enjoys gardening, sewing, and knitting.
